The Adult Day Care Center at Harmon House provides a structured program of social, recreational, and health-related activities coordinated by an interdisciplinary team of caring professionals. This affordable program provides a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment for older adults. We strive to:
- Help physically or mentally impaired adults maintain or improve their level of functioning
- Offer participants socialization, peer support, and access to health and social services in a stimulating environment that promotes physical and mental health and self esteem
- Assist caregivers of elderly people who cannot be left alone during the day, yet do not require 24-hour care, and
- Help functionally impaired adults who live alone and need supportive services to maintain independence
